About the role
- The role oversees staff responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel processing, and related fiscal functions.
- This role requires a consistent, in-person presence at the designated workplace in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and does not offer remote, telecommuting, or hybrid options.
- Assist the Comptroller in administering financial operations, including budget development, financial reporting, cash management, and fiscal oversight in accordance with state statutes and agency policy.
Responsibilities
- This position performs advanced professional financial and budgetary analysis to support operational effectiveness, resource stewardship, strategic planning, and agency decision‑making.
- Analyze financial data, expenditures, revenues, and budget trends to support forecasting, strategic planning, and executive-level decision-making.
- Conduct advanced financial and budgetary analysis to inform operational decisions and support agency program functions.
- Manage and monitor carryover funds to ensure accurate accounting, allocation, utilization, and reporting aligned with legislative and agency requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field [official transcripts required upon hire]
- Two (2) years of experience in accounting, budgeting, financial analyst or fiscal operations
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future
- Less than 10% i n-state/out-of-state travel may be required.
- Ability to stand, reach, and bend 50% of the time
- This role requires clear and accurate communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate information and make timely decisions.
