About the role
- Set major equipment including breakers, switches, instrument transformers, reactors, and capacitor banks
- Working outdoors for extended periods of times in var ious weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain conduit, grounding, motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment, and components
- Ensure compliance with design drawings, electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- With more than 115 years of construction experience, Blattner has played a vital role in building America's critical infrastructure, ranging from railroads and highways to dams and mines.
Requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Ability to pass a pre -employment physical, drug and alcohol screen
- Must be able to work consistently outside, frequently in inclement weather
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Compensation
- $50.00-55.00 per hour; per diem based on eligibility
