- POSITION OVERVIEW Position: Senior Data Scientist Job Type: Full-time Location: Onsite, Ft.
- You'll work alongside a team of highly skilled operators who are dedicated to using innovative processes, tools, and techniques to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance data parsers for extremely large and complex datasets
- Implement and manage various database systems, including graph, SQL, NoSQL, and vector
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and optimize
- Support the deployment and maintenance of AI applications by providing expert data engineering
- Continuously optimize data infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability
- SIXGEN supports missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges.
- In this position, you'll provide meaningful support to our customer's missions and operations.

Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 8 years of experience
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 5 years of experience
- 4 years additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data engineering (e.g., Python,
- Proven experience with corporate dataflows and developing data parsers for extremely large datasets
- Extensive experience with various database technologies including graph databases (e.g., Neo4j),
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure) for data storage and processing
- Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance best practices
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools
- Continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of cutting-edge data engineering and AI advancements
Compensation
- $180,000-$220,000 USD
- The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
- Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
- The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
