About the role

  • The Sanitation Operator cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment or other related environmental surfaces in conformance to company standards and applicable health laws and has the ability to use all necessary sanitation equipment.

Responsibilities

  • This position requires team members to perform various duties:checking for proper shingling removal and replacement of blades maintain proper equipment settings to ensure that product quality meets standards maintaining a clean machine Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 6 months of sanitation experience must be documented in applicant's work history or resume provided.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • This team member must be lock out tag out trained (training will be provided upon hire).

  • Member will stand for the entire shift.
  • Member will bend, lift, twist, turn and reach high and low levels frequently.
  • Member will work in a cold, wet, and humid environment.
  • Member will climb to scrub high places and bend or squat to scrub low places.
  • Member will hold and operate high pressure water hoses for periods of time.
  • This facility is currently not accepting candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods.
