- Where you'll work The position can be fully remote anywhere in Illinois or in any of our Illinois offices.
Responsibilities
- As a Land Survey CAD Technician, you'll support professional land surveyors, engineers and project managers by preparing accurate survey drawings, maps and technical documents.
- » Develop existing conditions plans, base maps, ALTA and boundary surveys, Certified Survey Maps, plats, legal exhibits and record drawings.
- » Create digital terrain models, surfaces, contours and breaklines from field data.
- » Coordinate survey information with civil engineering design and land survey teams to keep drawings consistent throughout project development.
- » Research deeds, plats, right-of-way documents, GIS data and public records.
- » Manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and complete quality-control reviews before deliverables are issued.
- » Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for turning field data into accurate drawings?
Nice to have
- An associate degree, certificate or equivalent training in surveying technology, civil engineering technology, drafting or a related field is preferred.
- MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer or Revitt experience is a plus.
