- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Preference given to candidates with major coursework in construction, construction management, or engineering
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

- Ability to apply project management techniques to make involved and difficult decisions for projects, develop complex plans and specifications and perform research.
- Ability to develop project scope, tasks, timelines and resource assignment to include other project managers and outside consultants.
- Ability to read and interpret construction diagrams, plans, and blueprints and to recognize deviations from such plans in building construction and installation processes.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Preference given to candidates with major coursework in construction, construction management, or engineering
- and five (5) years of responsible experience in the management of complex construction projects;
- Valid Florida Driver's License required.
- State of Florida license as a Professional Engineer preferred.
Skills
- Work may require oversight by management.
- Requires negotiating skills and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of governmental budget procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
