Responsibilities

  • The HR Site Leader for Strother (Arkansas City, Kansas) is responsible for leading end-to-end HR support for approximately 650 employees.
  • This role provides strategic and operational HR leadership across the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, labor relations, talent management, leadership coaching and development, organization design, culture and employee engagement.
  • The HR Site Leader partners closely with business leaders to align HR priorities with site and business objectives while supporting a positive, compliance and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in related area or unrelated area with additional 4 years of HR experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and/or relevant work experience - roles that involve the application of labor and employment principles, operational and business management.
  • Master's degree in human resources or labor relations from an accredited college or university
  • 8+ years of experience as an HR generalist
  • Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
  • Leverage the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to bring the right solutions and expertise to the business
