About the role
- SOSi is seeking an Italian Instructor in Northern Virginia.
- In this role you will provide language instruction in a professional environment with responsibility for lesson planning, delivery, and assessment of learning.
- Strong inter-personal and communications skills are a must to supportively engage with adult students.
Requirements
- Deliver instruction to students ranging on a starting level from 0 to 3 to raise their proficiency level on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Italian history, culture, politics, and economy.
Nice to have
- Existing, active, in-scope TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Overseas experience related to or utilizing Italian language.
- Subject matter expertise in International Relations, Economics, Legal/Law, Military, Literature, and Cross-cultural studies are highly desirable.
- Office environment.
- Minimum core hours established by customer, expect at least 9 am to 2 pm.
Visa & Work Authorization
- The federal government requires all linguists on this contract to obtain and maintain a security clearance
