About the role

  • The HR Business Partner works with all levels in the organization and successfully partners with our managers and leadership team to help implement the people strategy needed for business success.
  • The HR Business Partner is hands-on and responsible for all facets of an employee's lifecycle.
  • As the key point of contact for our Southern California locations, as well as all fully remote employees in the US, this role ensures we deliver day-to-day HR Activities, as well as customer-centric HR consultation and business partnering for employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Build organizational capability to support business priorities with strong employee relations and business partnering focus (40%)
  • Drive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development (20%)
  • Own the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes (20%)
  • Manage the HR side of internal and external audits from Quality Management programs such as ISO 9001 (10%)
  • Manage and own day-to-day tactical responsibilities of a local HR professional (10%)
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well independently and proactively
  • Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically included in this description.

Nice to have

  • HR Certification is a plus
  • Preferred experience working for a multinational/global organization

Compensation

  • A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $85,000 - $117,000.
