About the role
- Expertise in MIG welding techniques, focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures.

Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Welder to support our Salisbury, NC manufacturing operation.
Requirements
- Candidate must be able to pass a 2G welding test in GMAW process with.045 solid wire
- Six months of MIG Welding experience required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions under limited supervision
- A strong ability to interpret technical drawings and adhere to work orders is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be a MIG Welder with prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Ability to read blueprints and measuring tape preferred
- Experienced in a fast-paced production environment preferred
- Refuse (Waste Truck) experience is preferred
Skills
- Operates all tools and equipment safely.
