About the role
- Summary The Studio Manager role is primarily focused on managing the sales and operations of the studio on a daily basis.
- This position requires the candidate to have a sound understanding of sales and operational excellence and demonstrate adherence to brand standards.
- This leader must also possess a high-caliber approach to coaching and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on Key Performance Indicators including membership sales conversion, member retention (measured as monthly churn), month-over-month recurring membership growth, and gross revenue targets.
- Fluent in all brand systems and applications that support the studio and membership program.
- Create and manage the weekly staffing schedule while monitoring payroll expenses.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform all job duties of the Assistant Studio Manager and Coaching staff and support their development.
- Support community events that drive member appreciation and new leads into the studio.
- Facilitate studio-specific marketing promotions, audit CRM campaigns, and manage studio-specific messaging.
- Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service team to effectively and efficiently resolve issues.
- Maintain a high-energy studio culture amongst members and staff.
Requirements
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Management experience in the health & fitness industry is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Fitness certification from a nationally accredited organization (or willingness to obtain within 3 months), or a B.A. in Exercise Science or a related field.
- Personal training, group fitness, or small group fitness certifications accepted.
- Job Type
- Full-time, salaried position, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekend hours to meet the needs of the studio's operating hours.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week and may exceed to meet the needs of the studio.
