- In this role, you oversee operations within your assigned specialty area based on your expertise and training while supporting quality, compliance, and efficient laboratory workflow.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing (waived, moderately complex, and highly complex as defined by CLIA) using standard and specialized instrumentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Initiate corrective actions to resolve quality assurance deficiencies and maintain compliance with established standards.
- Perform, document, and review preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in staff meetings to support effective communication and departmental collaboration.

Requirements
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
- Demonstrate proficiency with laboratory computer systems and related software.
Nice to have
- American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification
- Blood bank experience
Compensation
- Assist with maintaining current laboratory procedure manuals and completing required annual reviews.
