About the role
- As Director, Corporate Strategy, you will partner with the leadership team to drive the strategic agenda across our markets. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will help define where to play and how to win, translate strategy into clear priorities, and support disciplined execution that delivers sustainable growth and long-term value.
- You will develop business and operating strategies, evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, deepen understanding of customers and markets, and frame complex decisions for senior leaders.
- As Director, Corporate Strategy, you will partner with the leadership team to drive the strategic agenda across our markets.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development of business strategies and operating plans that drive innovation, scale, customer value, and sustainable growth.
- Building and managing an M&A pipeline in partnership with business leaders, RELX Corporate Finance, and Risk M&A teams.
- Developing a data- and relationship-driven understanding of customer workflows, unmet needs, market size, competitive positioning, and business models.
- LexisNexis Risk Solutions is the essential partner in the assessment of risk.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in corporate strategy, investment banking, market research, M&A diligence, product planning, business planning, or corporate mergers and acquisitions.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assess complex, unstructured situations and apply appropriate frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt to different audiences and operate effectively across organizational levels and functions.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize based on leadership direction.
- Experience in M&A, strategic alliances, and detailed commercial negotiations.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to connect strategy with commercial performance and capital allocation.
Nice to have
- Experience in a top-tier consulting or M&A advisory firm preferred.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a leading university preferred.
