About the role
- Our consulting group provides a full array of commissioning services for both new and existing buildings, and our technical services group provides start-up services on complex HVAC equipment from a wide range of manufacturers.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of VFD units out in the field.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize callbacks
- Prioritize following safety procedures and maintain a constant awareness of personal safety and the safety of others.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience with multiple manufacturers of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from heights/a ladder
- Strong working knowledge of three phase motors and control circuits.
- Ability to prepare inspection and appraisal reports
- Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
- Experience programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 MA & 0-10 Vdc devices
- Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision
Nice to have
- Prior experience with gas detection systems, & DriSteem Humidifiers is a plus
Compensation
- $45 - $64 hourly, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
