About the role
- JBT Marel is looking for a Layout Engineer in Des Moines, IA.
- The Layout/ Engineer is responsible for creating optimal solutions for Level 2 and 3 projects and preparing layouts with item lists for the sales process based on the customer need.
- The size of the projects varies from a single machine, line to a complete factory.
Responsibilities
- You will analyze customer requirements from Sales or support sales in gathering these
- You will design the optimal layout solution for the customer
- Create a system description when needed

Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the food processing industry and relevant production technics, materials and components
- Experience with or knowledge of 3D design tools (AutoCAD)
- Bachelor's degree or Higher education in a technical field with comparable experience and knowledge of process technology
- Excellent planning and organizing, work well under time constraints and with possible production setbacks
- You will be onsite and travel up to 50% of the time.
