About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines deep UX thinking with strong UI taste.
We want to see how you reason through problems, structure complex flows, and arrive at clear, polished solutions.
Every interaction happens in real time, under pressure, with real users.

Work directly with engineers and founders to define, refine, and ship features, ensuring design intent and quality carry through to production
Be the voice of the user: conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and translate real pain points into thoughtful design solutions
Build and evolve Retell's design system, setting standards for consistency, scalability, and craftsmanship as the product and team grow
Influence product direction through design, contributing strong opinions, clear rationale, and taste-driven decisions

This is a high-ownership role with real influence over product direction, UX quality, and design standards.

5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on shipped products
Since launching 18 months ago, thousands of companies now use Retell's AI voice agents to handle sales, support, and logistics calls that once required large teams of human agents.

Strong visual/UI sensibility with clear attention to hierarchy, clarity, and polish
Detail-oriented and care deeply about consistency and craft
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity
Bonus: experience designing for developer tools, APIs, dashboards, or real-time systems
Comp and Benefits
Cash: $180K-$230K or 15-18k per month
