- PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Software Engineer in San Jose, CA
- Job Duties: Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of features, projects, modules, and services that are delivered in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

- Identify critical non-functional requirements (Availability, Security, Performance, Scalability, and Observability) and implement them within team.
- Guide continuous improvements to PayPal's build and deploy processes.

Requirements
- Experience architecting and implementing large-scale applications using Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular frameworks (5 Years)
- Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and observability solutions for distributed systems using AWS CloudFormation and Amazon CloudWatch (2 Years)
- Experience implementing real-time application architectures using Redis as an in-memory caching layer (3 Years)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Nice to have
- The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring.
- Master's Degree or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Compensation
- $187,741.00-270,500.00 per annum.
- Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
