About the role
- We're seeking an experienced CT Sonographer to join a respected health system in Alaska on a three-year contract, performing high-quality CT imaging within a collaborative, patient-focused diagnostic team.
- Prepare and position patients for optimal image quality and comfort
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans accurately and efficiently, following established protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists and the wider clinical team to support diagnosis
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology/Sonography (Australia, Canada, or USA for equivalency)
- English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
- Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
- Administer contrast media as required, monitoring for adverse reactions
