About the role

  • Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Mortgage Processor with recent Wholesale/Broker side experience to join our team of third-party processors.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You will serve as the primary operational support to loan officers and borrowers, ensuring loans are efficiently processed in compliance with all applicable regulations and lender guidelines.

Nice to have

  • In this role, you will work closely with loan officers, borrowers, and various lenders to facilitate a smooth mortgage process from application through compliance audit.
  • You will be responsible for managing complex mortgage loan files from submission through compliance audit while working with multiple wholesale lenders.
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations, underwriting processes, escrow procedures, and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills to analyze financial documents accurately.
  • Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and mortgage servicing practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in documentation and communication.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
