About the role

  • Capco is seeking a DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer to join our Technology & Engineering practice in Toronto.
  • This role is ideal for someone with a strong DevOps/DevSecOps background who enjoys designing automation solutions that improve software delivery, developer experience, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows to automate CI/CD processes.
  • Build automation solutions using Python, Java, or Groovy to improve engineering productivity and platform reliability.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously enhance GitHub-based development workflows.
  • Hands-on experience developing GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
  • At Capco, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support and enhance several parts of talent acquisition.
  • AI is used as a support tool only.

Requirements

  • Strong programming experience in Python and Java/Groovy.
  • Proven background in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments.
  • Experience designing automation solutions across the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience implementing enterprise CI/CD platforms.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud-native technologies.
  • Familiarity with software security and secure development practices.
  • Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is listed below.
  • Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.
