Responsibilities

  • Drive development, enhancement, and troubleshooting of automated test systems supporting modem and photonics production.
  • Guide test strategy through Design for Testability input, cross-functional collaboration, and prototype validation.
  • Optimize and scale test methodologies to improve efficiency, adaptability, and throughput.
  • Build and integrate tools and interfaces into Ciena's broader manufacturing ecosystem, including data flows and production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Security, Computer, or Electronics).
  • Hands-on experience with software development using C#, TestStand, Python, and LUA.

Compensation

  • The annual pay range for this position is $91, 800 - $146, 600
  • Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.

  • Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
