About the role
- The company combines global scale with deep local expertise, managing more than 260 MSF of office, logistics, hospitality, retail and living space in gateway markets around the world on behalf of Brookfield.
- This position will require some physical activity such as lifting items, moving common area furniture and minor construction.
- In this role, you will play a key role in inspiring change and continual improvement.
Responsibilities
- Occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate event set-ups and completion of building related projects.
- Reporting daily to the Coordinator, Building Services on projects and tasks.
- Perform building inspections.
- Maintaining ceiling tiles and building supplies inventory.
- Ensure base building storage rooms are organized and tidy.
- Liaising with contractors to arrange minor building repairs for complex.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate hazards to reduce risk to the workplace.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with basic tools such as hammer, level, and power tools for minor repairs.
- Efficient communicator and the ability to multi-task
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work independently and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ambitious, energetic, and enthusiastic
