About the role

Position Summary/Purpose: The Athletic Marketing & Promotions Coordinator plays an essential role in promoting the GCU Athletics brand by supporting marketing strategies, fan engagement initiatives, and gameday operations.
This position offers a hands-on experience in the dynamic world of sports marketing and is ideal for students passionate about athletics, event management, and digital promotion.
The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a creative mindset.

Execute integrated marketing campaigns, promotional events, and game day experiences that increase attendance, enhance fan engagement, and support ticket sales, including theme nights, campus activations, giveaways, and grassroots outreach.
Build and strengthen relationships with fans, youth organizations, alumni, and community partners by supporting the Future Havocs Club, maintaining engagement databases, analyzing campaign performance, and representing GCU Athletics at campus and community events while contributing to departmental goals and revenue growth.

Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the athletics schedule.
Enrolled at GCU as a full-me student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Passion for collegiate athletics, marketing, fan engagement, and event management.
