About the role

  • Access State Fund Senior Associate Broker will work with the retail agent to analyze new business submissions, evaluate coverage needs/terms, and submit to the carrier.
  • They will submit new business quotes to the agents and assist with binding of the policy.
  • Analyzes risks to determine eligibility, appropriate classification(s) and carrier(s).

Responsibilities

  • Effectively use the company's agency managements system as well as other tools to perform their duties.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time, occasionally lift or move items up to 10 pounds, constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

Skills

  • College degree preferred.
  • P&C License required.
  • Must have strong knowledge of workers compensation insurance.
  • Must be able to classify and rate risks.
  • Must regularly exercise discretion and sound judgement.
  • Must have excellent typing skills.
  • Must have excellent organization skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office's Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Work from the Santa Rosa, CA office location preferred.

Compensation

  • Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
  • California Pay Range
  • $70,304 - $75,000 USD
