About the role
- We are seeking a n Industrial Designer to support the design and development of consumer-level products from concept through production.
- This role is ideal for a designer who is eager to build hands-on experience, contribute creative ideas, and collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end design process, including ideation, sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, and refinements
- Translate creative concepts into functional, manufacturable designs
- Develop CAD models, drawings, and basic renderings for product concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, sourcing, marketing)
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders
- Support preparation of design documentation for tooling and manufacturing
- Stay informed on consumer trends, materials, and design innovations
- 2 - 5 years of professional experience or relevant internships in product or industrial design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field
- Foundational proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot, Onshape, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply basic engineering concepts
Nice to have
- Experience designing consumer products (home goods, lifestyle, electronics, furniture, or similar)
- Exposure to mass production, tooling constraints, or supplier collaboration
- Familiarity with prototype fabrication methods (3D printing, mock-ups)
