- In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, ensuring accurate and efficient check-in processes, and performing insurance verification tasks.

Requirements
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance verification processes, including insurance plans, coverage, eligibility, and authorizations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and coding (ICD-10, CPT) is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients and effectively collaborate with staff.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional demeanor, maintaining confidentiality, and displaying empathy and compassion towards patients.

- Collaborate with medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience and resolve any issues related to insurance coverage or billing.
