About the role

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - Strategy, Planning, and Performance Improvement.
The work involves studying, evaluating, and providing policy and procedural recommendations concerning internal administrative operations, organizational structures, and management initiatives.
Specialized experience includes assisting with management consulting work for federal government programs to improve operations and results of those programs.

For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Experience in consulting practices such as project management, facilitation, problem definition, project scoping, process mapping, data analysis tools and techniques
OR Experience in project and program management, written and oral communications, meeting and group facilitation, client management, problem-solving techniques, and organizing large stakeholder meetings and events.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
