About the role

  • We're looking for Product Engineers early in their career who operate with high agency, strong ownership, and deep curiosity.
  • This is not a scoped, ticket-driven role.
  • Take full ownership of problems-from idea to production

Responsibilities

  • Develop context over time (memory + business rules)
  • You'll work directly with the founders to define product direction, build core systems, and ship end-to-end experiences.
  • Solid understanding of performance, system design, and scalability
  • If you're the kind of engineer who wants to build systems like that-and take real ownership in the process-you'll do well here.
  • Experience building and shipping production systems

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience building production web applications
  • Proficiency in modern web stacks (e.g. TypeScript, React, Next.js, or similar)
  • Experience with backend systems and APIs (e.g. Node, Python, Flask, or similar)
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and move across the stack as needed

Compensation

  • For candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the salary range will be $150,000-250,000.
