At Stambaugh Ness (SN), we help businesses and individuals navigate complex tax matters while delivering exceptional client experiences.
We're seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our growing Tax Solutions team.
In this role, you'll work alongside experienced tax professionals to provide compliance, planning, and consulting services to a diverse client base.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional service.
Collaborate with internal teams across Tax, Advisory, Assurance, Technology, Strategic Tax, and Outsourced Accounting Services.
Tax Planning & Consulting Support tax planning and consulting engagements for business and individual clients.
Research tax issues and document conclusions.
Team Development Mentor and support Staff Accountants in their technical and professional growth.

Experience serving architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), or closely held business clients.
Experience with pass-through entity taxation and multi-state filings.
Familiarity with tax preparation and research platforms such as CCH Axcess, GoSystem, ProSystem fx, Checkpoint, or BNA.
Experience assisting clients with IRS or state tax notices and examinations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
Active CPA or EA license Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns.
Strong knowledge of partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and individual taxation.

The salary range for this position is an estimate of $75,000 - $90,000.
A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual's skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
