About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, customer quality requirements, and internal operational procedures across rapidly developing hardware and manufacturing environment

Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, work instructions, process documentation, and quality records.
Lead internal and external audit activities including preparation, execution, corrective action management, and audit follow-up activities.
Manage nonconformance reporting (NCR), root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support supplier quality activities, process validations, and manufacturing quality assurance efforts as needed.
Oversee and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure continued compliance with AS9100 standards and customer quality requirements.
Mach Energetics is seeking a Quality Manager to lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in support of next-generation aerospace and defense programs.
Founded in 2022, Mach Industries is a rapidly growing defense technology company focused on developing next-generation autonomous defense platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in quality management within aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 standards, quality systems management, and audit processes.
Experience managing corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing, propulsion systems, or complex hardware programs.
Familiarity with supplier quality management and production quality systems.
Experience working in fast-paced startup or rapid hardware development environments.
Knowledge of FAA, DoD, or aerospace regulatory compliance requirements.
This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
