About the role
- This role also is heavily tied to sales and customer ideations to generate interest in new product and to sell current portfolio.
- Responsible for development and launch of new products, ingredients or processes of high priority in a timely manner.
- Work closely with marketing, manufacturing, quality, finance, sales, suppliers, and packaging in a team environment to commercialize new product initiatives, line extensions, quality improvements, and cost savings initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Experimental design test workEvaluating results with a team to determine direction and Maintaining appropriate records of work.
- Build effective relationships with cross-functional groups to achieve key activities by influencing others for support and results.
- Understand, create, implement and modify product and process specifications and procedures.
- Work with market data, and marketing department to plan, implement and launch effective and targeted products for the market.
- Develop technical solutions to a wide range of formula and processing challenges.
- Travel with CEO & Sales team to support new product launches and continually try to add new business to the portfolio.
Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply concerts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Must be a team player and possess good interpersonal skills
