Responsibilities
- Own the Strategy, Manage the Tradeoffs
- Staying hands-on here is important: you'll understand data quality, performance bottlenecks, and user friction, and you'll drive improvements with the engineering team.
- Partner Directly with Clients & Internal Stakeholders
- You'll engage with key clients and business partners to gather requirements, conduct discovery, and translate complex needs into clear product features.
- You'll also support internal teams and clients on reporting capabilities, helping them troubleshoot issues and maximize adoption.
- Coach the Team, Build Expertise
- You'll work closely with product owners, developers, and solution architects to strengthen product thinking and delivery practices. You'll deliver training to internal teams and clients, empowering them to leverage self-service reporting effectively.
- You'll lead day-to-day product execution-partnering with your Scrum Master, developers, QA, architects, and stakeholders to shape sprints, refine the backlog, and remove ambiguity.
- Your team delivers valuable increments predictably, with clear priorities and strong release readiness.
- You'll deliver training to internal teams and clients, empowering them to leverage self-service reporting effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, business analysis, data analytics, or a closely related technical role (we welcome strong candidates transitioning from data/reporting backgrounds)
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools or BI platforms (Logi, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports-or similar
- the specific tool matters less than your ability to learn new ones)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills: you can conduct discovery sessions, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into clear product requirements
- You're a coach and communicator-you genuinely enjoy helping developers, business teams, and clients grow, and you can explain complex data concepts with patience and clarity
- Note for Quebec candidates: if knowledge of English is required for this position, it is because the team member will be asked, on a regular basis, to interact in English with external or internal parties or to use English applications or software as part of their tasks.

- Practical SQL skills: you can read, interpret, and write SQL queries to support analysis, requirements definition, and stakeholder conversations
- Understanding of data structures and reporting: familiarity with data models, normalized data, and how data is organized to support reporting and analytics
- You're a natural systems thinker-you approach problems analytically, bring data to decisions, and collaborate across teams to find solutions

Skills
- you can conduct discovery sessions, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into clear product requirements
- Experience with centralized reporting data: exposure to data warehouses, semantic layers, business object models, or similar structures
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- Agile/Scrum experience: comfortable with backlog refinement, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, release readiness, and iterative delivery

- Background in data engineering, data analysis, or BI development before moving into product or business analysis
- Experience as a Software Product Owner (SPO) or Business Analyst in a reporting or data context

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms, data governance, or data quality practices

Compensation

- $ 90,000 - $110,000
- Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
