Responsibilities

  • Primary activities of the team include pit optimization, detailed mine design and scheduling, and options analysis.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mining Engineering or similar with a minimum of ten years of varied experience in roles of progressively increasing technical responsibility in mine planning
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with various collaborators, including operational and interdepartmental teams, external consultants, and subject matter experts
  • Outstanding decision-making, creativity, and the ability to find solutions are vital to success.

Compensation

  • $140,000 - $173,000 CAD / Year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
