About the role
- Neogen Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems to join our team.
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the maintainability, reliability, and availability of our equipment through proactive maintenance and testing procedures.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Travel as needed to support equipment buy-offs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Requirements
- Be available to work weekends and overtime as required to support operational needs.
Nice to have
- 5 years' experience dealing with repairing down equipment, preventative maintenance tasks, and electrical experience preferred.
