About the role

Responsibilities

  • The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the execution of all contractual efforts, including design, development, prototyping, production, operation, etc., as applicable.
  • Sets the example for and advises/mentors all technical leads and contract personnel.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities under the supervision of the respective technical director.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Software Engineer, Computer Engineer, Computer Science) from an ABET accredited institution and 13 years of directly related technical experience or
  • Master's degree in same and 12 years of directly related technical experience or
  • Ph.D. and 10 years of directly related technical experience
  • Experience leading technical teams from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Extensive experience in the designated industry including but not limited to: aerospace, electrical, software, environmental, biomedical, mechanical, and systems engineering
  • Possess technical acumen and the ability to troubleshoot on a variety of programs
  • Ability to take a concept from an idea to an actual working model
  • knowledge of Web applications, cybersecurity, CI-CD, and big data concepts and technologies
  • ISC^2 CSSLP
