About the role

Responsibilities
- The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the execution of all contractual efforts, including design, development, prototyping, production, operation, etc., as applicable.
- Sets the example for and advises/mentors all technical leads and contract personnel.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities under the supervision of the respective technical director.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Software Engineer, Computer Engineer, Computer Science) from an ABET accredited institution and 13 years of directly related technical experience or
- Master's degree in same and 12 years of directly related technical experience or
- Ph.D. and 10 years of directly related technical experience
- Experience leading technical teams from a variety of different backgrounds and disciplines.
- Extensive experience in the designated industry including but not limited to: aerospace, electrical, software, environmental, biomedical, mechanical, and systems engineering
- Possess technical acumen and the ability to troubleshoot on a variety of programs
- Ability to take a concept from an idea to an actual working model
- knowledge of Web applications, cybersecurity, CI-CD, and big data concepts and technologies
- ISC^2 CSSLP
