About the role

  • Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
  • Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe.
  • Reviews available information obtained by other health care team members.

Responsibilities

  • Also works with clergy to provide spiritual support.

Requirements

  • BLS certification is required.
  • Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired.
  • Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.
  • An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional certification preferred.

Compensation

  • $33.11 - $55.18 / hourBanner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency.
  • Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained.

  • This position offers a full time position/40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, during the day.
  • There can be on-call sporadically for after hours and weekends on rotation 5:00pm- 8:00am.
  • This position will provide 1:1 home care in Tucson.
