About the role

  • Location: Lansing, NY Hourly Rate: $19-$22/hour Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in NY.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to support custom testing plans.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical testing or laboratory environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry systems.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic understanding of polymers, composites, and nonmetallic materials.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical testing standards (ASTM, ISO) is a plus.

  • We are looking for a Test Technician to join our Lansing, NY site.
  • The Test Tech performs a variety of tasks related to the testing of raw materials, manufactured products or manufacturing processes.
  • Perform equipment calibration & testing and testing & program inspections.
