About the role
- Strong background in implementing API-Led connectivity and event-driven integration architectures across distributed enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Implement API-Led architectures using System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs.
- Build and maintain event-driven integrations using asynchronous messaging and streaming patterns.
- Develop reusable integration assets, shared components, and accelerator frameworks for delivery teams.
- Lead API implementation best practices including naming standards, versioning, error handling, and security.
- Drive API lifecycle management across design, development, testing, deployment, publishing, monitoring, and deprecation.
- Create RAML/OpenAPI specifications and ensure conformance between API design and implementation.
- Implement observability, logging, alerting, and performance tuning for production integrations.
- Mentor developers through code reviews, design walkthroughs, and development standards.
- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software/integration development experience with strong enterprise project delivery background.
- Deep hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule runtime, API Manager, Exchange, Runtime Manager).
- Proven experience implementing API-Led integration patterns at scale.
- Strong practical experience with event-driven integration and asynchronous processing patterns.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating with SOAP/legacy services when required.
- Hands-on experience with message queues and integration with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
- Strong understanding of security implementation: OAuth2, JWT, client credentials, mTLS, and API policies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and environment-based deployment strategies.
- Lead Integration Developer with 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration delivery, with primary hands-on expertise in the MuleSoft platform.
Nice to have
- MuleSoft certifications (for example MuleSoft Certified Developer/Platform Architect).
- Familiarity with microservices integration and serverless/event-triggered processing patterns.
- Exposure to Azure Integration Services is a plus.
- Experience in Agile delivery models and DevOps practices.
