Responsibilities
- Support Regent's media and technology businesses with copyright licenses, content distribution agreements, technology licenses, and other IP-adjacent commercial contracts.
- Partner closely with business, product, sales, and operations teams to provide practical, solutions-oriented legal guidance.
- Support strategic transactions by advising on technology, data, media, and commercial contract-related issues.
- Develop and maintain scalable contract templates, playbooks, and internal processes to support fast-moving businesses.
- This individual will support the media and technology businesses of Regent's portfolio on a broad range of commercial, and data-related legal matters.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience at a large, nationally recognized law firm and/or a well-known technology or media company.
- Experience as a transactional and/or privacy lawyer.
- Familiarity with copyright licensing and legal issues impacting media and technology-driven businesses.
- Working knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and commercial data arrangements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate legal issues into clear business guidance.
