About the role
- The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- The position plays a key role in optimizing productivity, maintaining compliance, and ensuring alignment with operational and quality objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve productivity, quality, and safety objectives.
- Oversee production schedules and daily operations to optimize resource utilization, product yields, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor operational performance metrics, conduct routine safety and housekeeping inspections, and implement actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
- This role leads production teams, drives adherence to operational standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, quality systems, OSHA and EPA requirements, and ERP systems.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to utilize operational systems and reporting tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Nice to have
- Experience leading Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing production schedules and monitoring operational performance metrics.
