Requirements
- Ability to function safely while wearing a respirator - Work requiring an OSHA-approved respirator and proper fit tested.
- Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

- 3+ years of professional gardening experience and knowledge in the construction field.
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Work at heights and climb ladders.
- Work in confined spaces.
- Work in high temperatures.
Skills
- 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded.
- Use blowers to clean parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances.
- Dispose of trash on outdoor trash cans.
- Assist with Weed eating as needed.
- Install pine straw and/or mulch and prepare flower beds.
- Pickup leaves from all exterior surfaces.
- Cut grass using push lawn mowers.
- Trim hedges and shrubbery.
- Plant flowers as needed.
- Use hand and power tools common to the trade.
Compensation
- $20.18+ per hour Contract Type: 1-year contract Schedule: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded Location: 215 Perry Hill Road Montgomery, AL 36109 2400 Hospital Road Tuskegee, AL 36083 Requirements: Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
