About the role

Certified to execute isolation and hydrostatic weld testing services in accordance with the Technician Advancement Mapping program, approved site and other company procedures to assure safe and proper use of equipment and satisfactory completion of the job.

Performs senior level isolation testing services on client work sites performing any of the following duties: Walk down of lines, pipe preparation, isolation pug maintenance, grip tight isolation plug maintenance, double block & bleed isolation, nozzle tests, plain end/partial system tests in accordance with the Technician Advancement Mapping program.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and coordinators to assess project requirements, develop effective strategies, and execute hot tap procedures.

Proven experience as a hot tap technician
Proficiency in setting up and using specialized hot tapping and line stopping equipment.
Experience with technical bolting including operation of hydraulic torque, tensioning equipment desirable
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to travel extensively (greater than 80%) and work according to a changing schedule
