About the role

  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
  • The successful candidate will consider federal, state and local floodplain management regulations in the review of privately financed drainage improvements associated with new development.
  • Essential Functions: As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this classification may include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics.

Responsibilities

  • This position is in the Engineering and Landscape Architecture Division with the primary responsibility being to design and oversee construction of flood control and drainage improvements, including Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) projects.
  • Additionally, you will assist in the review and implementation of larger Capital Improvement Projects being designed by consultants.

  • Experience with/knowledge of Green Stormwater Infrastructure and/or Low Impact Design practices.

  • Experience with Civil3D/AutoCAD.
  • Experience with public outreach and engagement.
  • Certified Floodplain Manager.

Compensation

  • $87,110 - $121,992 Annually Range Explanation: Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer.
