About the role

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Analyst or Senior Contracts Analyst to join its Legal Team in Pasadena, California.
Reporting to Arrowhead's Contracts Manager, candidates will have the experience and the ability to effectively evaluate, draft and negotiate company contracts on behalf of Arrowhead.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and negotiating skills, be detail oriented, responsive, tech savvy, quick to think on their feet, and be comfortable with making decisions independently based on an analysis of risk.

Draft, negotiate, evaluate and execute a wide range of contract documents to ensure their reasonableness and accuracy, appropriate timelines and deliverables, and alignment with Arrowhead's risk parameters
Prepare and edit contractual documents and correspondence, including amendments, termination notices and other formal notices under agreement.
Draft, negotiate, evaluate and execute a wide range of contract documents to ensure their reasonableness and accuracy, appropriate timelines and deliverables, and alignment with Arrowhead's risk parameters; identify and resolve clauses adverse to Arrowhead's interests.

1+ years of contract management experience managing a large volume of contract work.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiating a wide range of contract types.
Bachelor's degree in Business, or a biotechnology-related field or paralegal certification or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience supporting a publicly traded organization.
Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems (e.g. Agiloft).
