About the role
- SENTARA NORTHERN VIRGINIA MEDICAL CENTER WOODBRIDGE, VA REGISTERED NURSE - TRAVELER NIGHTS 14 WEEK Temp ICU / Critical Care $80/ hr 2 or more years of RECENT RN bedside ICU EXPERIENCE (see below for experience requirements) The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
- The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
- Meets and maintains any requirements defined by a specific specialty Education RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN Certification/Licensure Valid RN License to practice in Virginia Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience MUST have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in ICU
