About the role
- Responsible for managing the production and assembly of personal care products that meet and exceed the leading industry standards.
- Mentor and coach other Production Supervisors daily.
- Monitor and notify Scheduler and Sales of any changes to the Fill Schedule.
Responsibilities
- and Essential Duties Manage Production Supervisors, Associate Production Supervisors, Line Leads, Coordinators, and Production Associates.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operational flow of production lines.
- Track and maintain unit budget adherence.
- Track and maintain schedule adherence and achievement.
- We knew innovation meant pushing the envelope on design and thinking.
- Most importantly, we knew that developing relationships meant building a reputation for coming through on promises and standing behind our product.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of Supervisors, Coordinators, Leads, Production Associates, temporary employees, and Mechanics to achieve daily, monthly, and yearly goals.
Requirements
- Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
- Technical Skills Required Ability to learn and navigate an MRP/ERP system.
Skills
- Required Ability to learn and navigate an MRP/ERP system.
- Knowledge of KPIs as they relate to industry standards.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions while considering all internal and external customer requirements.
- Great communication skills with all levels of employees and management.
- Understanding of how to read and navigate an open order report.
- Experience Required Bachelor's degree or 5 to 10 years of experience is preferred.
- Five years of experience managing a large group in a production/assembly work environment.
