About the role
- Korean Bilingual Quality Engineer ll//TL//Aliso Viejo, CA Summary This role is responsible for supporting manufacturing and engineering quality activities, including defect analysis, root cause investigations, and customer return processes.
- The position focuses on identifying quality trends, improving product reliability, and ensuring timely resolution of quality issues through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support manufacturing and engineering quality-related issues, including customer return defect analysis and root cause investigations
- Perform initial hardware and software (HW/SW) analysis, including diagnostic trouble code review, bench testing, log capture, and PCB component-level investigation
- Conduct warranty claims analysis and utilize quality data analytics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Support and coordinate responses to emerging quality issues, including containment actions and issue tracking
- Support daily quality and inspection activities at designated inspection facilities to verify product quality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics or related field
- Hands-on experience with PCB analysis, ECU testing, and system-level integration
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with statistical and problem-solving tools (Minitab, Power BI, Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, root cause analysis)
- Ability to travel up to approximately 30% (domestic and international), including local travel as needed
- Ability to lift equipment up to 30 lbs
- Bachelor's degree
- Ensure timely and compliant submission of required customer documentation

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
