Responsibilities

  • The Simulation Operations Specialist position is a non-instructional role that supports Simulation Instructors.
  • We believe every member on our team enriches our diversity by exposing us to a broad range of ways to understand and engage with the world, identify challenges, and to discover, design, and deliver solutions.
  • The Simulation Support Instructor collaborates with the lead faculty on instructional support needs and also designs, plans, and implements simulation instruction and activities.
  • The Simulation Support Instructor ensures adherence to program policies, course objectives, program outcomes and current simulation best practice and safety measures.

Requirements

  • 2 years field experience.

Nice to have

  • EMT Basic Licensure required as a minimum.

Skills

  • Experience with instruction preferred.
  • Technical aptitude required.
  • Familiarity with medical device systems.
  • Ability to meet challenges of adult learners with diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working in healthcare or pre-hospital setting.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy/physiology.
