About the role

  • As engineers, architects, construction/program managers, environmental professionals and beyond, we play a significant role in shaping our communities through the services we provide.
  • Business Development responsibilities include the development of new and existing clients.
  • include the following: Actively work with NV5's Business Development Department to respond to Request for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • With offices nationwide and abroad, NV5 helps clients plan, design, build, test, certify, and operate projects that improve the communities where we live and work.
  • Manage ongoing work.
  • Demonstrated leadership in pursuing work with an understanding of the public works infrastructure water market for agencies, local, state, and federal government to win new work and maintain existing clients.
  • Cultivate, establish, and maintain client relationships, identifying and positioning them strategically to capture the best opportunities.
  • Lead client visits, prepare and present presentations to stakeholders.
  • Leads people in public works infrastructure projects spanning through construction phases.

Requirements

  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, Hard Hat, protective footwear, respirators or other PPE as needed in compliance with OSHA regulations).
  • Ability to work out-of-doors in inclemently hot or cold weather, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Most shifts are worked monitoring the contractor's standard construction shift during the day M-F, but the candidate should be willing to work nights and weekends.Ability to travel within

Compensation

  • The pay range for this position in California is $165,000 to $180,000 per year.
