About the role

  • Reporting to the Shovel and Drill Supervisor, Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) in our maintenance departments are responsible for inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose the root causes of equipment problems and take appropriate actions.
  • This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of straight days.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established maintenance procedures; maintain accurate records of maintenance and
  • Perform all associated duties including regular scheduled preventative maintenance, PM optimization, procedure development, parts requirements, and job plans

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references.
  • The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.
